Subas Bhandari is one of the original founders of Rosemary Kitchen & Coffee Shop, and for more than 15 years he has been at the heart of everything that makes the restaurant special. When Rosemary Kitchen first opened its doors in Thamel, Subas had a simple goal: to create a place where people could relax, enjoy good food, and feel genuinely welcomed — the way guests are welcomed into a Nepali home.
From day one, Subas has been hands-on with every part of the restaurant. He has spent years refining recipes, guiding the kitchen team, checking the quality of every dish, and making sure service always feels warm and personal. Many of our regular guests know him by name — and many return specifically because of the atmosphere he helped create.
